Conclusion on classification

The acute toxicity for fish, crustacea and algae are all greater than 1 mg/L. The substance is non-rapidly degradable with adequate chronic toxicity data available; the available chronic daphnid and algae values are all greater than 1 mg/L. Therefore, the substance does not fulfil the criteria for hazardous to the aquatic environment classification according to European CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (as amended).

The substance does not contribute to global warming; is not a source of ozone depletion in the stratosphere; is not a source of ozone formation in the troposphere; and does not contribute to the acidification of the atmosphere. Therefore, the substance dose not fulfil the criteria for hazardous to the ozone layer classification according to European CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (as amended).
