Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.9 (Flash-Point)
Deviations:
yes
Remarks:
Measurement was performed up to a temperature of 100 degree C at the most, as the test shows polymerisation at higher temperatures. Flash points above 100 degree C do not affect classification.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
flash point > 100 degree C.
Executive summary:

Two independent range-finding experiments were performed. In both experiments, the Flash Point Tester PMA 4 showed that the flash point of PC-Cure P-1001 lies above 100 degree C. Due to the possible polymerisation of the test item at higher temperatures, no further experiments were performed.
