greater than 0.1551 mg/L (Shao, 2014).
Daphnia: One study resulted in 48h-EC50 of exceeded 0.082 mg/L
Algae: One study resulted in 72h-EC50 of greater than 0.03 mg/L and NOEC
of 0.03 mg/L (Tobor-Kaplon, 2014).
Microorganisms: One activated sludge respiration inhibition study
resulted in 3 h-EC50 of above 1000 mg/L and NOEC of 1000 mg/L
Earthworm: One study on earthworm resulted in 14 d-LC50 value of greater
than 1000 mg/kg dw (Gao, 2014).
Data: poorly soluble substance (Oudhoff, 2015), no acutely toxicity
effects at maximum dissolved concentration (saturation concentration) of
test substance, and not rapidly degradable (Shu, 2014).
Therefore in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (as amended
by Regulation (EC) No. 286/2011) Table 4.1.0, this substance should not
be classified for acute (short-term) aquatic hazard and should be
classified as chronic category 4 for "Safety net" classification.
