Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Henry's law constant was calculated to be 31.2 Pa m³/mol using the Group contribution method of the program HENRYWIN (v3.20) within the Program US EPA EPI Suite.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
31.2
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Henry’s law constant was estimated by calculation using the group contribution method of Meylan W and Howard PH (1991, Environ. Toxicol. Chem. 10: 1283-93). Calculation was performed with the Program US EPA EPI Suite v4.10, program component HENRYWIN v3.20.

In addition for comparison purposes, Henry’s law constant was calculated using measured values of vapour pressure (6,700 Pa; Iuclid Sect. 4.6) and water solubility (22,000 mg/L; Iuclid Sect. 4.8) (see EPI Suite calculation for Henry LC and Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance,Appendix R.7.1-4 Henry’s law constant and evaporation rate). The result of 30.82 Pa*m³/mole agrees well with the QSAR calculated value of EPI Suite.
