Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results:

The test item consisted of transparent particles which had different shapes and were partially agglomerated.
Two test series of three measurements each were performed. The measurement time was 8 s.

Individual results:

D50: 287.57 µm (1st test series), 275.07 µm (2nd test series)

D10: 6.47 µm (1st test series), 6.35 µm (2nd test series)

D90: 904.00 µm (1st test series, 877.02 µm (2nd test series)

The measurements showed maxima at approximately 5 µm and approximately 500 µm and a shoulder at approximately 100 µm.

Description of key information

The results of the laser diffraction experiment, volumetric distribution (under consideration of CIPAC MT 187, ISO13320, OECD 110 and US EPA OCSPP 830.7520):

D50: 281.3 µm

D10: 6.4 µm

D90: 890.5 µm
