Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling Point)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EPA OPPTS 830.7220 (Boiling Point / Boiling Range)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Remarks:
Hess. Ministerium für Umwelt, Energie, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz, Wiesbaden, Germany
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Atm. press.:

Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
>= 250 °C

The measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed no endothermal effect between the melting and the decomposition of the test item. The test item showed no boiling point at atmospheric conditions because it decomposed first starting at a temperature of 250 °C (thermal stability).

Description of key information

No boiling point, decomposition at 250 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling of the substance was investigated according to guidelines EU A.2, OECD 103 and EPA OPPTS 830.7220 (differential scanning calorimetry).
