Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a photochemical degradation in air study, the DT50 was calculated to be 6.14 hours. In a hydrolysis study, DT50 values for natural water, pH 7 and 9 buffers were 3 days, 43 days and 0.63 days, respectively. In natural water, pH 7 and 9 buffers, the test substance hydrolyzed to haloxyfop-R acid, which was then observed to be stable. In a photo transformation in water study, DT50 values at pH 5 buffer and natural water are 20 and 2 days. The test substance was stable to soil photolysis

The test substance is not ready biodegradable according to a study conducted by OECD 301D and EU Method C.6. In an OECD 309 study, the DT50 was 14.3 hours (at 9 µg/L) and 16.4 hours (at 90 µg/L) in surface water. The test substance was degraded very rapidly in fresh and sterile soils under aerobic conditions at 10 and 20°C with DT50s < 1 day.

Estimated whole fish BCF is <17. The coefficients of mobility ranged from 0.58 to 0.76 with intermediate to high mobility in soil. Henry's Law constant at pH 7 was 1.2E-3 Pa m³/mol
