Administrative data
First-aid measures
Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Dispose the clothing safely.
After inhalation:
Fresh air. Get medical attention if pain still persists.
After skin contact:
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. Get medical attention if pain still persists.
After eye contact:
In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with water. Get medical attention if pain still persists.
After ingestion:
Induce vomiting if patient is conscious, seek medical advice. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. By continuous complaints consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
water, water spray jet, water sprinkler, extinguishing powder.
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons:
Carbon dioxide.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, its combustion products or from resulting gases:
Fire gas of organic material has to be classed invariably as respiratory poison.
In the event of fire, the following can be released:
Nitrous oxide (NOx)
Other information:
Evacuate the area, fire can be transformed into detonation, don't attempt to extinguish.
Accidental release measures
Wear personnel protective equipment to avoid direct contact with the substance. In case of dust formation use respirator with dust filter.
Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Methods for cleaning up/taking up:
Substance shall be collected carefully and put into marked containers for destruction. Rinse away the rest with plenty of water.
Additional information:
The collected product is to be handled as explosive waste.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:
Avoid impact, friction and static electricity and avoid accumulation of dust and dust formation. Explosion hazard.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking. Avoid impact, friction and static electricity and avoid accumulation of dust and dust formation. No smoking.
Classification of fires: A
Storage
Requirements for storage room and vessels:
Inappropriate materials are copper, copper alloys, brass.
Further information on storage conditions:
Store in a dark place; keep container tightly closed; open and handle with care.
Recommended storage temperature: 10°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
None
Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection: in case of dust formation use a fine dust face mask. Respiratory filter (part): P3
Hand protection: rubber gloves.
Eye protection: face shield.
Skin protection: flame protected clothing.
General protective and hygiene measures: workplace and methods shall be planned that direct contact with the substance is avoided. After worktime and during work intervals the affected skin areas must be thoroughly cleaned.
Stability and reactivity
Accumulation of fine dust may entail the risk of a dust explosion in the presence of air, exothermic reaction.
Hazardous decomposition products:
None
Thermal decomposition:
Exothermic decomposition.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of the product as a hazardous waste.
Packaging:
Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed off as product waste.
