other: Boiling of the test item was not observed below the temperature of decomposition, therefore the test item has no boiling point.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Starting at a temperature of 50 °C a first exothermic effect with an energy release of -30 J/g can be observed. This effect is directly followed by an endothermic effect, starting at 70 °C. A second endothermic effect is detected starting at a temperature of 250 °C. Subsequently a second exothermic effect starting at 340 °C with an energy release of -50 J/g is observed.

During the heating phase two endothermic effects were observed in the temperature range of 70 – 130 °C and 250 – 330 °C, which cannot be assigned to the melting of the test item, because an exothermic effect is observed previously at 50 °C. In correlation to the determination of the thermal stability (see 4.19), the test item showed a decomposition starting at approx. 50 °C. Thus, no boiling of the test item could be detected up to its decomposition starting at 50 °C under atmospheric pressure. The detailed results of the DSC-measurements are given in the table in the field 'Overall remarks'.

The test item Disodium beta-glycerophosphat (CAS no. 819-83-0) has no boiling point up to the decomposition of temperature of approx. 50°C at atmospheric pressure (1009 hPa) as determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.2. and OECD Test Guideline 103 (1995).
