- According to column 1 of REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), Annex IX, information requirement 7.16 (dissociation constant) an experimental study is not required for this endpoint if it is scientifically justified. The test item is an UVCB substance for which, due to its chemical structure, no significant dissociation is to be expected under naturally relevant pH-conditions. Moreover, the test item has proved to be readily bidegradable in an experimental test performed according to OECD Guideline 301C. Therefore, an experimental study for this endpoint is considered to be scientifically unjustified.
