Cytotoxicity of iron ore dust was related to the lipid peroxidation

Phagocytic activity of alveolar macrophages on S. cerevisiae was depressed, LDH activity 
was increased, and potassium concentration in the  cells was reduced. Cells were 
morphologically not damaged, but lipid  peroxidation was increased.
