Endpoint:
other: specific surface area
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
supporting study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: ISO9277:1995
Version / remarks:
1995
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Specific surface area was determined acc. to the BET method using the adsorption isotherm. The amount of adsorbed nitrogen was measured by means of a static volumetric method. Before carrying out the test, the sample was dried in an oven at 110°C for 2 hours and afterwards it was outgassed with a nitrogen flux at 150°C.
GLP compliance:
no
Results:
Specific surface area (B.E.T. method) in (m2/g): 1.3 ± 0.1

Conclusions:
The specific surface area of the pigment was determined to be 1.3 ± 0.1 m2/g.

Description of key information
