Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Environmental fate and pathways endpoints are completed for the test item based on test data following standard guidelines or data waivers. All data are therefore considered to be reliable and relevant for the endpoint concerned.

Biodegradation of the test item was determined in the reliable study with non-adapted activated sludge for a period of 28 days (Maischak 2015). The test item achieved 47 % biodegradation after 28 days and therefore is considered to be not readily biodegradable.

The Henry’s Law constant were estimated using the QSAR model HENRYWIN v 3.20 available in EPI Suite. The model is considered reliable and appropriate to estimate this endpoint. The Henry's Law constant for the test item was estimated to be 0.0908 Pa m³/mol (Bond Contribution Method) and 0.0451 Pa m³/mol (Group Contribution Method) at 25 °C. The Bond Method is able to estimate many more types of structures than the Group Method and was therefore considered the most suitable method to estimate the Key value. The substance is not volatile based on the estimated Henry's Law constant of 0.0908 Pa m3/mol.

The hydrolysis study was not considered scientifically necessary and therefore it was waived as the test item is not expected to undergo hydrolysis in the environment due to a lack of hydrolysable functional groups.

The adsorption coefficient for the test item has been calculated by QSAR (KOCWIN v2.0) and is considered reliable for this endpoint. The Koc of the test item is 118.4 L/kg and the log Koc is 2.0735, based on an experimentally derived log Kow of 2.82. Based on the predicted log Koc value of 2.0735 the substance is considered to be not adsorptive.
