Description of key information

In a semi-static reproduction test (OECd 211), young Daphnia magna (< 24 h old) were exposed to Fatty acids, tall oil, reaction products with ethanolamine, ethoxylated for 21 days. The test item is of poor solubility in water, therefore a procedure using the WAFs was performed. The test concentrations were nominal Control, 0.02, 0.05, 0.15, 0.47, 1.50 and 4.74 mg/L. As a result, the LOEC value for intrinsic rate of population growth was higher than 4.74 mg/L and the NOEC value was higher than, or equal to, 4.74 mg/L. The 21d- EC10 value was higher than 4.74 mg/L.
