Remarks on result:
other: corrected value

The performance of the flash point tester is checked two times each by means of the RAPID RT-1, Pensky-Martens, the Setaflash Series 7 or Abeltester depending on the temperature range.

A pre test, carried out with the Rapid tester (Seta Flash Serie 7) according to DIN EN ISO 3679 shows a flash point of 191.5 °C.

Actual air pressure: 1014 / 1009 hPa (corrected: 1013 hPa).

Description of key information

199 °C at 1013 hPa (Method A.9, by means of Pensky-Martens apparatus-closed cup system, according to DIN EN ISO 2719)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
199 °C
