Description of key information
Field dissipation studies were undertaken at two Northern and two Southern EU sites with application in late summer. Mean DT50 values of 55 days and DT90 values of 183 days were obtained. These are consistent with the results of four US studies where DT50 values of 67-99 days were observed. No movement of propargite below the top soil layer was observed in any study. Concentrations of TBPC found in the US studies were always <13 % of the initial propargite concentration and there was no evidence of accumulation.
