Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test substance was found to not be classified as flammable according to GHS criteria as it failed to ignite in the preliminary burn test.
Executive summary:

The test was carried out in accordance with EU method A10. During the preliminary test, the test substance melted but did not ignite. It did not propogate combustion beyond the first timing mark and no burning times could be recorded. The full test series was therefore not required.
