Additional information

The acute toxicity of (hydroxyethyl)urea to the Water Flea, Daphnia magna, was determined under static conditions according to OECD test guideline 202.

After 48 hours of exposure, there was no effect on the mobility in the control or treatments. The 48 -hour EC50 was estimated to be 1000 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested based on nominal concentrations. The no observed-effect concentration (NOEC) was 1000 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested.
