Additional information

The acute toxicity of (hydroxyethyl)urea to the Rainbow Trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss, was determined under static conditions according to OECD test guideline 203.

After 96 hours of exposure, there was no mortality in the control or treatments. The 96-hour LC50 was estimated to be 1000 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested based on nominal concentrations. No subleathal effects were observed. The no observed-effect concentration (NOEC) was 1000 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested.
