Results:

Headspace vapour concentrations of test substance as found after an equilibration time of 24, 49, 145, 192 and 240 hours are exposed in the following Table:

Equilibration time [h]

Headspace concentration [µg/l]

Headspace concentration [g/m3]

240.10.0001
490.40.0004
1450.80.0008
1921.20.0012
2401.40.0014

The vapour pressure at 20 °C was calculated from the average headspace concentration of 192h and 240 h samplings using the equation of ideal gas.

Vapour pressure of test substance was 0.02 Pa at 20 °C;

GC-FID Validation Parameter:

Regression Courbe: Response = 0.058082* Concentration + 0.004915

Correlation Coefficient (r): 0.999981

Recovery: Desorption of the test material from the sorbent cartridge was verified by GC-FID analysis of control samples prepared. Residual test substance detected was around 13%. Therefore, the extraction was considered valid and no correction for desorption efficiency was applied.

Repeatability of injections: The calibration point of 5 mg/I was injection at the beginning and end of each series, the maximum variation was 10%.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item has been determined to be 0.02 Pa at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of test item was measured according to OECD 104 / EU A4 guideline, using gas saturation method.

Determinations were conducted at 20 °C. The vapour pressure at 20 °C was calculated from the average headspace concentration of 192 h and 240 h samplings.

The vapour pressure of the test item has been determined to be 0.02 Pa at 20 °C.
