The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 259 °C. The injected volume was 200 µl. The ignition delay was 49 s. At a temperature of 255 °C no ignition was observed. Therefore, after rounding-off to the next lower multiple of 5 °C the auto-ignition temperature of the test item is 255±5°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Auto-Ignition temperature of test item was determined according to EU A15 method and DIN 51794 method.
Auto-Ignition temperature of test item was determined to be 255±5°C (the injected volume was 200 µl, the ignition delay was 49 s).
Executive summary:

The Auto-ignition temperature of Reaction mass of (3-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)cyclohex-3-en-1-yl)methanol and (4-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)cyclohex-3-en-1-yl)methanol was determined in a DEKRA CTL 19 instrument, equipped with a 200ml glass ignition vessel according to the DIN 51794.

The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 259°C. The injected voilume was 200 µL, the ignition delay was 49s- At a temperature of 255°C no ignition was observed.

Therefore, after rounding-off to the next lower multiple of 5°C:

Auto-ignition temperature of Reaction mass of (3-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)cyclohex-3-en-1-yl)methanol and (4-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)cyclohex-3-en-1-yl)methanol: 255 +/- 5°C.
