Description of key information

Sodium N-(2-aminoethyl)-.beta.-alaninatet, concentrated was tested to assess its potential to cause acute toxicity to the freshwater fish,Oncorhynchus mykiss, according to OECD 203. The test was conducted using a static renewal aquatic exposure method using one nominal test item concentration (100 mg Test Item/L) along with a negative control as a limit test.

Based on nominal concentrations of PUD-Salt, concentrated:

1.  The 96-h EC50(and 95% confidence limits) was >100 mg/L (N/A)

2.  The No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) was ≥100 mg/L
