FR-370 is a hydrophobic molecule with molecular weight of 1018 g/mol, and low water solubility value of 0.0156 mg/l.
FR-370 was found to be not readily biodegradable in water. The level of degradation obtained in a ready degradation test was 38% after 43 days.
The Log Koc value is greater than 5.6, indicating the potential for strong adsorption to soil.
The Bioconcentration factor (BCF) is 200, indicating that the substance is unlikely to bioaccumulate in aquatic organisms.
In addition, results from the ADME study in rats show only minor absorption and retention of FR-370 in tissues (<2%), indicating virtually negligible uptake of the substance.
