Persistence of the substance was tested in closed study design as it has a potential for volatility. Full reliable degradation studies demonstrated the substance is readily biodegradable meeting the 10d-window (De Nadai, 2009). Furthermore a full GLP reliable study reported the half-life of the substance due to hydrolysis is over one year at 25°C whilst pH over 9 catalyse isomerisation but not hydrolysis of the test substance (Fox, 2007).

Based on QSARs estimations (see endpoint 4.7) there is a strong weight of evidence that the substance would not bioaccumulate in organisms.
