Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VIII, Section 9.3.1, no study on adsorption/desorption needs to be conducted, if the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly or based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption. Since the ready biodegradability of the test substance was proven (please refer to IUCLID section 5.2.1) and its log Kow -4.7, an experimental investigation on adsorption/desorption was not considered necessary.

Nevertheless, to KOC was deviated by QSAR modelling in EpiSuite KOCWin vs.2.0 in order to determine by EPM method the toxicity for soil and sediment organisms. The modelled log KOC is -2.5 based on entered (measured) log KOW : -4.7.
