Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test substane was estimated to be 9.8E-25 Pa at 25°C for the sulphuric acid ester component and 1.7E-24 Pa for the vinyl sulfon component. A vapour pressure of 1E-06 Pa is used in the assessment (minimum value for EUSES).

Additional information

In a study performed according to EC Method A.4, the vapour pressure of the test substance was determined by calculation (RCC 2003). The test substance consists of two main components and for both the vapour pressure was calcultated using the Modified Watson Correlation. This vapour pressure calculation was based on the calculated boiling point using the Meissner's method to be 9.8E-25 Pa and 1.7E-24 Pa at 25°C.
