As Distilled tall oil, maleated is a poorly soluble UVCB substance it is extremely difficult to measure a Koc value experimentally. The Koc for this substance has therefore been calculated based on a measured Kow value, following the equation in the EU Technical Guidance Document (2003) and the ECHA Guidance Document R7a (2008): log Koc = 0.81 Log Kow + 0.1.
