Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Pay attention to self protection and imediately call for a doctor. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Inhalation: In the event of inhalation (ingestion), seek medical attention immediately. Move into fresh air and keep at rest. If breathing stops, immediately begin artificial resuscitation. If the heart stops beating, immediately begin heart massage.
Skin contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention
immediately.
Eye contact: Rinse the eye with water immediately.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemical. Alcohol-resistant foam. Carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Water. Reacts violently with water.
Specific hazards during fire fighting: In case of fire, formation of hydrochloric acid, highly dispersed silicic acid.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Remove sources of ignition. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
Methods for cleaning up: Do not allow runoff to sewer, waterway or ground. DO NOT USE WATER
Handling and storage
Handling:
Advice on safe handling: Only open container under local extraction. Explosion protection necessary. All equipment used when handling the product must be grounded.
Handling:
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Product may charge electrostatically during pouring or filling.
Storage:
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Nitrogen blanketing of containers is required.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment (ppe):
Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection mask with Filtertype ABEK Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Hand protection: Advice: This recommendation is valid only for our Product as delivered. If this product will be mixed with other substances you need to contact a supplier of CE approved protective gloves (e.g. KCL GmbH, D-36124 Eichenzell, Tel. 0049 (0) 6659 87300, Fax. 0049 (0) 6659 87155, email: vertrieb@kcl.de).

Glove thickness: 0,65 mm
Hand protection: Material: 890 Vitoject
Minimum break through time: > 480 min
Glove thickness: 0,7 mm
Producer: KCL GmbH, D-36124 Eichenzell, Tel. 0049 (0) 6659 87300, Fax. 0049 (0) 6659 87155, email: vertrieb@kcl.de.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166 Face shield.
Protective Measures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If feeling unwell, a doctor should be consulted (if possible show MSDS).
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: Keep away from any contact with water. Do not allow water to get into container because of violent reaction and possible flash fire. Product generates flammable gas on contact with acids, bases or oxidizing substances. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Materials to Avoid: Water, Aldehydes. , Ketones , Esters., Metal oxides., Acids and bases
Hazardous reactions: Reacts violently with water, alkali, acids, alcohols, esters, ketones, aldehydes and amino compounds.
Further Information: Apply the following regulations and datasheets of the German BG Chemie. M 004 "Irritating substances - corrosive substances". M 053 "General industrial protective measures for handling dangerous substances". Evolves hydrogen on contact with acids, alkalis, alcohols, powdered metals or, as the case may be, metal oxides. Reacts violently with water, alcohols, acids, alkalis and amines. In use, may form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture.
Hazardous decomposition products: Hydrogen chloride gas
Disposal considerations
Product: According to local regulations, can be taken to an appropriate incinerator equipped with exhaust gas cleaning.
Contaminated packaging: Dispose of as unused product.
