Preliminary test

The preliminary test was performed twice.

Observations in assay No. 1 At the start of the test, the test item was constituted of beige pearls. At the contact of the burner’s flame, the test item melted and formed a colorless limpid liquid which darkened with time.

Neither inflammation nor propagation was observed. After the withdrawal of the flame, the liquid formed a white opaque solid in cooling.

Observations in assay No. 2 The same observations as for the assay No. 1 were recorded.

Main test

Taking into account the results obtained during the preliminary test, no main test was performed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item was not considered as highly flammable under our experimental
conditions.
Executive summary:

FLAMMABILITY OF SOLIDS

In compliance with Commission Directive 92/69/EEC, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 EC A10 method (2008)
