Additional information

The physical and chemical properties of the reaction mass of maleic acid and phtalic acid as produced (reaction mass in 90% water) have not been assessed as such due to the nature of the constituents, their low concentration in water and the confinement of the installation in the plant.

A summary of the main publicly available physical and chemical properties of the individual components is proposed below (source HSDB):

(CAS 110 -16 -7)
(CAS 88 -99 -3)
(CAS 65 -85 -0)
(CAS 498 -23 -7)
(CAS 110 -17 -8)
 % in produced

Based on these informations, physical and chemical properties of the reaction mass as produced (90% water) are not expected to trigger any classification based on phys chem hazards.
