Description of key information

Key study: Test method according to OECD Guideline 201. The 96h-EC50 values based on algae (Chlorella pyrenoidosa) growth and reproduction rate for sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate were determined to be 0.8 and 0.24 mg/l, respectively.

Key study: An Algal Growth Inhibition Test was performed with sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate in accordance with OECD Guideline 201. The test duration was 96 hours. The 96h-EC50 values based on algae (Chlorella pyrenoidosa) growth and reproduction rate were determined to be 0.8 and 0.24 mg/l, respectively.
