Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Three tests have been performed :
-Determination of Minimum Ignition Energy (dterination of the minimum amount of energy required to ignite a dust cloud of the substance due to an electrostatic discharge at atmospheric pressure and room temperature).
-20-L Sphere assessment (In a standardised test apparatus with a contents of 20 litre, a small number of tests is performed over a wide range of concentrations to determine whether or not the dust is explosible).
-Electrostatic testing (electrical resistivity and charge relaxation time)
GLP compliance:
no
