Additional information

Didecanoyl peroxide is a solid organic peroxide, Type C (determined by UN test method), with a SADT (Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature) of 40°C.

The melting range is 39-46°C (peak temperature : 44°C), thus the substance will decompose before melting. As the substance is solid, no flash point and no boiling point was required.

The relative density at 20°C is close to water (1.0768), and the estimated log Kow is 8.38.

Didecanoyl peroxide is available as white flakes, and the granulometry shows that >99% of particles have a size greater than 100µm. As the substance is a solid with a low melting point, as vapor pressure was carried out, and is determined to be 0.04Pa. Therefore, the substance has a low/medium fugacity.
