Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A long term toxicity study to fish was performed with didecanoyl peroxide under flow-through condition according to OECD guideline 210 under GLP requirement.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to the results of the test, the lowest NOEC (fresh weight, 33 d) was determined to be 38.5 µg/L didecanoyl peroxide (arithmetic mean measured). No other effects were observed based on hatchability, post-hach survival, mortality, lenght or dry weight. Given the lack of effects observed in dry weight up to 165 µg/L (arithmetic mean measured) and the lack of significant differences in fresh weight between solvent control and all test concentrations, the overall NOEC may be considered to be= 165 µg/L (arithmetic mean measured).

The overall LOEC (33 days) was determinedto be >165 µg/L didecanoyl peroxide (arithmetic mean measured).

Therefore, no effect were observed up to the water solubility limit.
