First-aid measures
- General advice:
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.
- Following inhalation:
Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
- Following skin contact:
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
- Following eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention immediately.
- Following ingestion:
Rinse mouth. Get medical attention immediately.
- Most important symptoms and effects: Severe eye irritation. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred vision. Permanent eye damage including blindness could result. Skin irritation. May cause redness and pain.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Water fog. Foam. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
By heating and fire, harmful vapours/gases may be formed.
- Advice for fire fighter: Firefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet, gloves, rubber boots, and self-contained breathing apparatus. Move containers from fire area if you can do so without risk.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions:
Keep unnecessary personnel away. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapour. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protection.
- Environmental precautions:
Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Eliminate sources of ignition.
Large Spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dam the spilled material, where this is possible.
Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
Never return spills in original containers for re-use.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Provide adequate ventilation. Do not breathe mist or vapour. Do not get this material in contact with eyes. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid release to the environment. Do not empty into drains.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Store away from incompatible materials. Keep in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: Explosion-proof general and local exhaust ventilation.
2. Organisational protection measures: Provide eyewash station.
3. Hand protection: Wear appropriate chemical resistant gloves.
4. Feet protection: Wear appropriate chemical resistant clothing.
5. Body protection: Wear appropriate chemical resistant clothing.
6. Eye protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles) and a face shield. Tightly sealed safety glasses according to EN 166.
7. Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity
: No hazardous reaction known under normal conditions of use, storage and transport.
2. Chemical stability
: Stable at normal conditions.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
: Risk of self-polymerization if heated, exposed to UV radiation, direct sunlight or other high energy radiation, or in contact with radical polymerization starter such as peroxides.
4. Conditions to avoid:
High temperature. Avoid contact with oxidising agents.
5. Incompatible materials
: Strong oxidising agents.
6. Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal breakdown of this product during fire or very high heat condition may evolve the following hazardous decomposition product: Carbon oxides and traces of incompletely burned carbon compounds.
Disposal considerations
Residual waste: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Empty containers or liners may retain some product residues. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe manner.
Contaminated packaging: Since emptied containers may retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied.
EU waste code: The Waste code should be assigned in discussion between the user, the producer and the waste disposal company.
Disposal methods/information: Incinerate in suitable combustion chamber. Contract with a disposal operator licensed by the Law on Disposal and Cleaning. Do not allow this material to drain into sewers/water supplies. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations.
