Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For the endpoint short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates and toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria a one-to-one read across was performed to a chemical similar compound of the same chemical class with a comparable phys. chem. profile and similar response in biological assays.

No adverse effects were observed up to the limit of water solubility.

 48-h EC50 (daphnia) > 0.0028 mg/L (water solubility), > 100 mg/L (nominal)

72-h EC50 (algae) > 0.0028 mg/L (water solubility), > 100 mg/L (nominal) based on growth rate

72-h EC10 (algae) > 0.0028 mg/L (water solubility), > 100 mg/L (nominal) based on growth rate

Conclusion on classification

Classification, Labeling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

According to the available test data, the test item does not meet classification criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The test item was determined to be not readily biodegradable. In the aquatic tests conducted, the test substance showed no toxic effects on the tested species until the limit of water solubility. Based on these results, the substance does not require classification for environmental toxicology according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
