First-aid measures
If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. Unconscious person never give anything. In all serious cases of eye contact, and when swallowed, seek medical advice.
EYE CONTACT: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes from the inner corner of the eye to the outside to avoid hitting the other eye. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
SKIN CONTACT: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.
INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air and keep them warm and calm. Give oxygen or artificial respiration if necessary. Consult a doctor/medical service if you feel unwell.
INGESTION: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth. Get medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Suitable extinguishing media: powder, CO2 , foam (light, medium, heavy). Unsuitable extinguishing media: water.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE: Do not breathe fumes from fires or vapours from decomposition.
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS: During the fire of the product, keep the safe distance, use suitable breathing protection (isolation device), or self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: Do not breathe vapours. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Do not allow the mixture to enter into sewer, water system (underground water, surface water) or soil.
METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING-UP: Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents). Take up mechanically (sweeping, shovelling) and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents). Take up mechanically (sweeping, shovelling) and collect in suitable container for disposal.
HYGIENE MEASURES: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Do not eat, drink or smoke in areas where product is used. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INOMPATIBILITES: Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. A first aid kit with appropriate content must be available.
