Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Overall result:

Decomposed from approximately 313 °C (586 K) at 101.6 kPa

As a result of the low rate of enthalpy change during the initial stage of decomposition, the onset temperature could only be approximated.

Non-similar thermographic profiles were obtained using air and nitrogen atmospheres; this would indicate that the test item decomposed with both thermal and oxidative processes

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined to decompose from approximately 313 °C (586 K) at 101.6 kPa. As the test item decomposed, no value for boiling point could be determined.
Executive summary:

The substance was found to decompose from approximately 313 °C (586 K) at 101.6 kPa, by differential scanning calorimetry, designed to be compatible with Method A.2 Boiling Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995. As the test item decomposed, no value for boiling point could be determined.

Description of key information

The test item has been determined to decompose from approximately 313 °C (586 K) at 101.6 kPa. As the test item decomposed, no value for boiling point could be determined.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance was found to decompose from approximately 313 °C (586 K) at 101.6 kPa, by differential scanning calorimetry, designed to be compatible with Method A.2 Boiling Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995. As the test item decomposed, no value for boiling point could be determined and therefore no key value is identified.
