The test item partially boiled from approximately 180 °C to 230 °C and then boiled with decomposition from approximately 230 °C.

As a result of the low rate of enthalpy change during thermal events, the onset temperatures could only be approximated. Non-similar residues were obtained using air and nitrogen atmospheres, using the same thermal programme; this indicates that the test item decomposed both thermally and oxidatively.
