The estimation of the surface tension value of ursodeoxycholic acid by ACD/Labs' ACD/PhysChem Suite is 46 mN/m. Considering that ursodeoxycholic acid is a secondary bile acid and therefore it is a surfactant, the estimated value is consistent with the decrease of surface tension that it should produce in a water solution (water surface tension: 72.75 mN/m).
