Administrative data
First-aid measures
If breathed in, move person into fresh air.
If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.
Wash off immediately with plenty of water.
Call a physician immediately.
Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
In case of eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 5 minutes.
Remove contact lenses.
If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed:
If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is con-scious).
Call a physician immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: Allergic reactions
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Water mist
Dry powder
Foam
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Sand
Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF).
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides, Sulphur oxides, Iodine compounds, Fluorine compounds
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters:
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local cir-cumstances and the surrounding environment.
Accidental release measures
Avoid dust formation.
Avoid breathing dust.
Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Environmental precautions: Should not be released into the environment.
Methods for cleaning up:
Large spills: Sweep up or vacuum with HEPA filter or via wet cleaning into suitable containers for disposal.
Pick up and arrange without creating dust. Keep in properly labelled containers.
Small spills: Moisten a towel, cover the spill, pick up the spill or use HEPA vacuum.
Large spills + Small spills: Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Treat recovered material
Handling and storage
Ensure all equipment is electrically grounded before beginning transfer operations.
To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with skin and eyes.
Avoid formation of dust and aerosols.
Advice on protection against fire and exposure: Avoid dust formation.
Requirements for storage areas and containers:
To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight. Store in original container. Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store at room temperature
Storage temperature:
15 - 25°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering controls should be used as the primary means to control possible exposures. Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep exposure lev-els below recommended exposure limits.
All personal protective equipment should be based on a risk assessment. Consult a Environment Health Safety expert if necessary.
Personal protective equipment
Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles
Hand protection: Nitrile rubber. Impervious gloves Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, dura-tion of contact).
Skin and body protection: closed work clothing. disposable one-piece overall
Respiratory protection:
Engineering controls should always be the primary method of controlling exposures.
If respiratory protective equipment is needed for certain activi-ties, the type as well as the corresponding protection factor will depend upon the risk assessment and air concentrations, hazards, physical and warning properties of substances pre-sent.
Use only respiratory protection that conforms to international/ national standards.
Suitable mask with particle filter P3
Protective measures: The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Risk of dust explosion.
Conditions to avoid:
Avoid dust formation.
To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.
Heat, flames and sparks
Materials to avoid: Strong oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides, Fluorocarbons, Sulphur oxides
Disposal considerations
Product:
Must be incinerated in a suitable incineration plant holding a permit delivered by the competent authorities.
In accordance with National, Federal, State and Local regula-tions.
Contaminated packaging:
Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste han-dling site for recycling or disposal
