Conclusions:
Based on the results of the read across study, the relative density of the test substance is considered to be 1.339 at 20.20°C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the relative density of the read across substance, 'Cocodimonium hydroxypropyl hydrolysed wool' (active: 62.8%), according to the OECD Guideline 109, hydrostatic balance method, in compliance with GLP. Under the study conditions, the relative density of the read across substance was determined to be 1.339 at 20.20°C (Scymaris, 2017). Based on the results of the read across study, similar relative density is expected for the test substance, 'Steardimonium hydroxypropyl hydrolysed wool'.

Description of key information

Relative density of the read across substance was determined using the hydrostatic balance method, according to OECD Guideline 109 (Scymaris, 2017).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.339
