- Reaction and/or decomposition of the test item was observed during DSC experiment at temperatures of > 125°C (> 398 K). Therefore, the substance cannot be viewed as a liquid or low melting point solid and the flash point can not be determined. Also, decomposition occurred before the substance melted, making it technically not feasible to determine the flash point.
