The log Kow cannot be determined experimentally because of the low solubility of the metal chelate in octanol. Therefore, calculated values of the constituents are provided.
The calculated log Kow of ZnEDTA, ZnDTPA and ZnHEEDTA are very low:
-10.32, -11.06 and -13.4 for ZnEDTA, ZnDTPA and ZnHEEDTA, respectively. Taking into account the typical composition of Reaction mass of ZnEDTA, ZnDTPA and ZnHEEDTA, the average logKow is estimated at -11.07
