Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Daphnids were exposed during 48 h (static test) to control and 100 mg/L (WAF). Based on immobility compared to the control (from direct observation of the data), the 48 hour NOELR was determined to be 100 mg/L. The EL50 is > 100 mg/L.

In a test according to OECD 201 Green algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) were exposed to the substance as a Water Accommodated Fraction (WAF) with a loading rate of 0 and 100 mg/L during 72 hours. No confirmatory analysis of the test solutions was performed due to lack of an analytical method. No effects on yield and growth rate were observed. All algae appeared normal at microscopic evaluation at the end of the test. The EL50 is >100 mg/L and the NOELR is 100 mg/L for growth rate and yield.

For fish no toxicity is expected at the maximum solubility level.

No toxicity towards micro-organisms was observed in the biodegradation test.

Additional information

No toxicity is expected at the solubility level.
