Description of key information
Water solubility of Al(H2PO2)3 is 24 g/L at 20 °C. pH of the solution is 3.2.

Preliminary test indicated that the solubility of test item was higher than 10 mg/L. It was then decided to apply the flask method for the determination of the water solubility.
As an average from 3 independent tests, the water solubility of Phoslite IP-A is 24 g/L. The measure is based on the analysis of Al3 +, by Atomic Spectroscopy. The pH of the solutions is: 3.2; 3.2; 4.5. It can be assumed that the salt is fully dissociated.
According to the manufacturing experience, it should be considered that at pH 7.0 Aluminium Hydroxide is formed and fully precipitates.
