Additional information

The aerobic degradation of the substance was evaluated according to the OECD Guideline 301F and EU Method C.4 -D. The 10-day-window began on day 2 (lag phase), at its end (day 12), 61 % were reached, staying above the pass level of 60 % given in the OECD guideline. The substance was biodegraded by 72 % after 28 days under the test conditions and meets the 10 -day window criterion. The test substance can be considered as readily biodegradable.

Considering the ready biodegradation of the substance, its hydrolysis was not assessed.

The adsorption potential of the substance was also not evaluated in a study; taking into account the logPow of the substance (<3) it is expected to have a low potential for adsorption and therefore it is not expected to partition to the sediment/soil compartment.
