Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
199.5 °C

Additional information

Two reliable measured flash point values are available for the substance from the same author (Haas 2015). A measured

flash point value of 199.5°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a Pensky-Martens closed-cup method in accordance with ISO 2719. This value is selected as key value. A further value of >110°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a rapid equilibrium closed-cup method in accordance with ISO 3679 Test Method. Both studies were conducted in accordance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008), and are considered to be reliable.

A flash point of value of 199.5°C and a measured boiling point of 407°C, indicate that the substance should not be classified for flammability according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
