The key screening study on biodegradation in water (KS_Modified MITI Test (I)_1994) was conducted according to the “Study on Degradation of Chemical Substances by Microorganisms, etc.” described in “Methods of Studies on New Chemical Substances” (Kanpogyo Notification No. 5, Yakuhatsu Notification No. 615, and 49 Kikyoku Notification No. 392 issued on July 13, 1974) and is comparable to OECD Guideline 301C. Activated sludge (non-adapted) was incubated with the test substance at a concentration of 100 mg/L for 28 days.
Findings described below were obtained regarding degradation based on BOD and TC analysis.

Degradation of the test substance determined based on BOD and TC indicated that it is a readily biodegradable substance.
