Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The water solubility of substances with an expected high solubility is normally determined according to flask method described in OECD Guideline 105. To apply this method, the preparation of a saturated solution of test item in water is required.

As further preparations with higher concentrations had shown that it was not possible to prepare a saturated and filterable solution of the test item in water, a homemade method described in the External method EM/00408/01 from Competence Center Analytics, BASF SE (chapter 4: visual method) was applied to investigate high up to complete miscibility.

Due to the fact that it was not possible to prepare samples with a usable liquid phases at the saturation concentration, the water solubility can only be estimated from the results of the visual method.

The solubility (miscibil ity) of the test item in water at 20.0°C is ≥ 20 g/100g < 30 g/100g (test item/mixture) .
